Justin and Mallory Workman are the faces behind J5 Photography. Our main focus is our customers! We want that personal touch, someone that you feel comfortable with, someone that you would trust your baby with. We strive to give our customers what they want and more. Infact, if you are not satisfied with the end product, we do not expect you to pay.

Justin - I have loved photography since I was a kid. My family has always been big into the photography gadgets and latest gear, about 2 years ago I caught this bug. I started out with a Nikon D40 and no knowledge of how to use a camera. Over the past few I have taken many many pictures and started my education in photography. As I further my education I fall in love with the art more and more.

Mallory - I have always loved taking pictures, especially of people! Over the last year or so, my love for taking these pictures has grown as I learn more and more. I love looking for the shots that are timeless, something that you could never get again, the kiss that the groom was sneaking for the bride, the kiss on the infants forehead as they are crying, and the laughs after someone tells a joke!

J5 Photography is running a Wedding contest. We want to hear how you met, your engagement story, and your wedding plans. We will be giving one lucky couple an all inclusive wedding package for FREE! No strings attached. You will receive a free engagement shoot, a free bridal shoot, and full coverage the day of your wedding. You will also receive a copyright release and a high resolution CD of all the pictures we take.

Why are we doing this? We have planned a wedding before and know how stressful it can be. We love to hear unique, fun, and romantic stories of how couples met and got engaged. We want to make your special day even more special and as stress free as possible.

In addition to the free wedding package we are giving away 3 consolation prizes to 3 couples who do not win the main wedding prize. We are offering 3 free engagement or bridal shoots! Again these 3 shoots are no strings attached free engagement or bridal shoots that include a copyright release and high resolution CD of the pictures we take.

How to enter

Send us a picture of you and your fiance, along with a story of how you met, and how you got engaged. We are looking for that fun, unique, romantic story that makes you say “oh how cute!” Along with your picture and story send us the date you plan to get married and where.

Macen Morey

I used to work at Best Buy “back in the day” and while working there I became good friends with Daren. We lost touch after both pursuing other careers but recently we got back in touch with each other. It was nice to catch up with Daren and meet his beutiful wife Vanessa. At this time we met, Vanessa was pregnant with Macen. We got to talking and told Vanessa and Daren about our new business and showed them the other shoots we had done. They like what they saw and asked if we would do Macen’s newborn shots. Mallory loves babies and I love taking pictures so we quickly said yes. Daren and Vanessa have a handsome son and a gorgeous home. Thanks again you two. Here are the shots we took. Enjoy

Daren is a huge rock and roll fan, and an amazing guitar player. Hopefully Macen with fall in love with it to.

For my photo II class this last semester one of my assignments was to shoot a self portrait and a portrait of another person. You wont be seeing my self portrait but here are some of the portraits I took. I decided to photograph my dad because he is a character and very willing. I wanted a challenge and unfortunatly he was to easy to work with. He was a lot of fun and we ended up with some good pictures. Thanks Dad! Enjoy

Anyone that has known my dad for more than 5 minutes knows that he likes three things: Cowboy boots, TV, and Stone. This a perfect picture of my dad because this is him. I came over to take pictures and this is where he was.

Burton Family

Morgan & Gordon are very dear friends of mine and Mallory’s and we have become quite close to them lately. Burton recently joined the Air Force and graduated from basic training. He was able to come home over the christmas break and spend some time with his family. While he was in town Morgan asked us to do a shoot with her and Gordon and their two families. I first met both their families shortly before Morgan and Gordon’s wedding and let me tell you they could not have better parents. They welcomed us into their home and treated us like their own children. Here are some of the pictures we took. Enjoy

Hyde Family

We were at a family party recently, we got talking to my aunt Karen, about life, work, etc. We mentioned to her that we had started our business and if she wanted any family pictures we would love to shoot them for her. Karen is known in her neighborhood, family, and beyond for going all out on her christmas cards. She hand makes each card rather than having them printed. So we were glad that she gave us the chance to shoot these for her. The Hyde’s are a fun little family, they have some of the cutest boys ever! And they were all ready and willing to get their pictures taken. Enjoy
